Apple and Almond Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

Apple Almond Vinaigrette

Makes 1 cup of dressing, enough for 4 to 6 salads
Ingredients
½ cup filtered organic apple juice
2 tbs organic apple cider vinegar
2 tsp of almond butter
¼ cup olive oil
1 tsp pure maple syrup, grade B for strongest flavor
1 shallot, finely minced
½ tsp of powdered rosemary
½ tsp sea salt or to taste
Black pepper to taste.

 

Preparation:
In a blender, blend together the apple juice, cider vinegar, maple syrup, almond butter shallot and salt.
Gradually add the olive oil and blend to emulsify. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Double up the recipe and store the remainder in a glass bottle in the refrigerator

 

Cook’s Note:
Recycle an empty salad dressing bottle for your homemade dressing.
Soak the bottle in hot water to remove the label.
